Introduction
In the Forgotten Realms setting, the calendar most commonly used is the Calendar of Harptos. This calendar consists of 12 months, each with three tendays (three 10-day weeks), making 30 days in each month. There are also 5 holidays that stand alone, not belonging to any month, totaling 365 days in a year.
In the Calendar of Harptos, each month has two names: one is the formal name, and the other in parentheses is a colloquial name or descriptor that often reflects the typical weather or characteristics of that month

- Hammer (Deepwinter) - Equivalent to January
- Midwinter - Standalone holiday, no direct equivalent
- Alturiak (The Claw of Winter or Claw of the Cold) - Equivalent to February
- Ches (The Claw of the Sunsets) - Equivalent to March
- Tarsakh (The Claw of the Storms) - Equivalent to April
- Greengrass - Standalone holiday, roughly equivalent to May Day
- Mirtul (The Melting) - Equivalent to May
- Kythorn (The Time of Flowers) - Equivalent to June
- Flamerule (Summertide) - Equivalent to July
- Midsummer - Standalone holiday, roughly equivalent to a Midsummer celebration
- Shieldmeet - Occurs the day after Midsummer in leap years, no direct equivalent
