Definition: The Bariaur are a race of ram-like centaurids, boasting the upper body of a humanoid merged seamlessly with the robust, four-legged lower body of a ram. Native to the Upper Planes, especially Ysgard, these nomadic beings embody a blend of martial prowess and spiritual depth, roaming the planes with a sense of freedom and adventure.

Traits

• Ability Score Increase: Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

• Age: Bariaur mature at the same rate as humans but live up to 150 years.

• Alignment: Tending towards the chaotic alignments, Bariaur embody the free spirit of Ysgard.

• Size: Your size is Medium. However, due to your four-legged nature, you are somewhat bulkier than other Medium races.

• Speed: Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

• Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Celestial.

• Mighty Leap: Once on each of your turns, you can jump a distance up to your walking speed as part of your movement, without provoking opportunity attacks.

• Ramming Charge: If you move at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, you can immediately follow that attack with a bonus action, making one attack against the target with your horns.

• Horns: You are never unarmed. Your horns are a melee weapon that deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage.

• Mountain Born: You have resistance to cold damage and are acclimated to high altitudes, including elevations above 20,000 feet.

• Warrior Culture: You are proficient with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

• Planar Knowledge: You have advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks related to the Outer Planes.

• Extra Legged: Difficult terrain costs you no extra movement. However, due to your unique physiology, standard mounts and vehicles are not designed for your use.
